The US military has established a new task force aimed at restricting Iran's movement of weapons and sanctioned goods. The force is focused on preventing Tehran from transporting these items across land borders and the Caspian Sea. This follows months of naval blockades and heightened tensions in the region.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has dismissed the new US plan as mere "wordplay," suggesting it lacks real impact. The IRGC claims the US is using rhetoric to mask its inability to effectively pressure Iran economically or militarily.
Meanwhile, Iran has announced it will no longer limit the range of its ballistic missiles, pushing US warships further than 1,000 km from its territory. This declaration comes amid rising military tensions in the Middle East.
Iran has also claimed its military strength has increased significantly over the past eight months, contradicting US reports that suggest Tehran's military capabilities have been severely weakened.
In a separate development, the US has offered a $20 million reward for information related to Iran's nuclear program. Iran has responded by asserting its military superiority, stating it will not be stopped in its efforts to develop and modernize its weapons.
The situation reflects a deepening military and strategic rivalry between the US and Iran, with both sides escalating their posturing and capabilities in response to each other's actions.
